Event Recap: Workshop at United Philanthropy Forum’s 2025 Unconference in Denver

Brian Miller, executive director of Nonprofit VOTE, Gwen Stembridge, director of education and partnerships at Nonprofit VOTE, and Philanthropy for Voter Engagement consultant Angie Jean-Marie, founder and principal of Fait La Force Strategies, spent the day in Denver, CO presenting at the United Philanthropy Forum’s UnConference, a gathering of PIOs (Philanthropy Infrastructure Organizations). For the panel and discussion they were joined by Jan Brennan director of advocacy and engagement for Philanthropy Colorado and Naomi Amaha Director of Policy and Public Affairs of the Denver Foundation. The discussion focused on the challenges and benefits of investing in voter engagement. We also launched a landscape analysis to learn more about the ways the sector has been impacted by policy in the last year or so.

If you are a foundation or a PIO and would like to participate in that landscape analysis, contact philanthropy@nonprofitvote.org.
